In Defense of Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle
As a long-time fan of Catwoman, I was definitely intrigued by the casting news today for Dark Knight Rises. People pretty much seem to be reacting to Anne Hathaway the way they did to the announcement of Heath Ledger as the Joker. They don’t like it, they can’t see it, etc. You would think that after the last movie, they would have learned to trust Nolan’s casting.

I really wanted to like The Cape. But...
If you’re going to have a character who serves the exact same role as DC Comic’s Oracle, don’t name her Orwell. Being able to walk doesn’t make her fresh and exciting.
All The Bad Guys Are British. Yawn.
